How we use automated tools, and how we allow AI systems to use our content.

We use software to price delivery from your postcode, to schedule deliveries by area, and to keep our stock figures accurate. These are calculations, not decisions about you.
No decision that affects you is made by an automated system alone. Credit terms, order acceptance and pricing exceptions are all decided by a person. You have the right under UK GDPR not to be subject to a solely automated decision with legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not make any.
Quotes and technical advice come from people who know the product. If you are told a unit will fit, someone has checked.
We allow reputable AI assistants and answer engines to read our public pages so that people asking about steel storage get accurate information about what we make. Our llms.txt file summarises our range in plain language for that purpose.
We ask that anything published about us is accurate and current. Prices change; the figures on our own product pages are the correct ones. If an AI assistant has told you something about our products that turns out to be wrong, please tell us at enquiries@extraspace.co.uk so we can correct the source.
Our product photography, drawings and written descriptions remain our property. Reading them to answer a question is fine. Reproducing them wholesale as another seller's own material is not.
We do not feed customer records, enquiries or order details into public AI services.
